Should I Stay Here?
I have come to realize that, once again, I need a change, though I consider it more of a return, in my spiritual views. I see now that, despite my attempts to use my method of intentionally finding a way for it to be wrong, Christianity cannot possibly be wrong. There is simply no way for it to be. People often misunderstand it, and there may have been abuses of it by later Christians, and it may be complex, but that doesn't make it untrue. I certainly do not understand or know it entirely or perfectly, but I have thought about any way for it to be wrong, and I simply cannot find one. Furthermore, I am continuously drawn through feeling towards it, especially Jesus, unlike any other truth conveyed in the world. Thus, I cannot help, nor do I want to, conclude any differently than that the Bible is true, and that I believe it to be true.
My question is: because of my continuously-changing nature, even if from here on it does not change anymore, and from me now being a Christian, should I stay or leave thebigview? I would really like the opinion of those here. If I left, there would be no animosity, from me at least, though I would probably rather not. |

Re: Should I Stay Here?
What does being Christian (or upholding any belief for that matter) have to do with your attendance on this forum?

Re: Should I Stay Here?
I agree with Akamu's question: you may be ambivalent when it comes to Christianity, but what does that have to do with your presence on the forums? Whether you decide to be Christian or not, if you enjoy discussing things on the forum you should stay. If you don't, then leave.

Re: Should I Stay Here?
Actually I moreso meant me having a tendency to change, which I doubt I will again, but me now becoming Christian is one more change of mine I wonder if the people here can accept.

Re: Should I Stay Here?
Hi scameter, I chose other meaning stay or leave, but don't feel bound by either. How about drop in, but don't drop out? Yes, that's what I mean.

Re: Should I Stay Here?
Thank you.
Though, honestly, I've come to realize that I change how I think way too often to make any real claims to my beliefs. So, from now on, I won't say definitely what religion, philosophy, or otherwise that I ascribe to at the moment. I'll just post views. |
