Who has seen Zeitgeist?

I'm not sure if anyone has posted a thread about this topic before me, because I'm fairly new to this site...

If you haven't seen it, watch it at zeitgeistmovie.com

If what it says is true, then we should all be deeply concerned about the future of the world.
I've asked people what we could do about it, and they just said to keep informing people about it.
But I'm not sure, even if everyone in the world knew about it, what could we possibly do to stop it?

I heard that there is a sequel comming out that adresses how we can stop the government. I'm really anxious to see it.

Any thoughts or opinions?

Re: Who has seen Zeitgeist?

Yea, I think there was a thread on this before, but I do not mind posting in this one as its predecessor has been buried for quite some time.

Well, hell. I have seen documentaries on the various facets that this video addresses, but I have not seen them compiled into one presentation. The most disturbing thing in my mind at the moment is that it seems we humans can be conditioned to believe absolutely anything. This video could be 100% true, it could be 100% false, or it could lie anywhere on a continuum of validity between the two extremes. How can we possibly work out the truth when facts can be manipulated to suit any point trying to be expressed? How do we sift through the deceit and recognize the reality? I am utterly at a loss for what to believe...and even if I settled on a belief, it would be unfounded for it would be based on blind faith either way. Part of me wishes it were all true because then ideals I have spent years formulating would be affirmed and my suspicions would be proven correct. However, the optimistic part of me pushes to see that people are generally good-intentioned and that the tragedies described in this video were not artificially implanted for the sake of some scheme to amass absolute power. Obviously the viewers are presented with many facts, quotes, figures, etc that reinforce the claims being made. But then again, the opposing side has accomplished the same thing. For me, the true helplessness I feel does not arise from feeling weak, but from uncertainty. I am growing tiresome of being uncertain about everything; it saps all my confidence, vigor, and drive. I know this is turning more into a rant/venting rather than an objective commentary, but I am assuming I am not alone in feeling this...and it is the very reason people can't seem to "wake up" to the atrocities befalling them from all directions.

At the very least, I can thank this video for allowing myself to contemplate my terrible uncertainty about many things in life. I can only hope that some day I will be enlightened to at least some morsel of truth. As for this video, only time will tell....but if you want my complete and honest gut reaction, I think it is probably pretty damn close to what's going on. But of course, I may very well be wrong.

I agree. I can't be 100% sure that the video is true, but based on the facts, I can tell that it is probably true for the most part.
Even if it is true, I have no idea what we could possibly do about it.

That's weird, I visited the site today to look over some parts of the video again and it is 30 minutes longer than before with a completely different beginning.

Re: Who has seen Zeitgeist?

There is a ton of information in that video, and all of it is uncertain. You can go to the zeitgeist website, http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/sources.htm, and see how true those seem to you.

I know some of the "evidence" is taken quite out of context. Such as that Kennedy Speech, it's actually about the USSR and not some New World Order.

But a very intriguing video.

Yeah, I think the video gets messed up sometimes and will start in the middle of the movie.

Re: Who has seen Zeitgeist?

Hello loving friends...I'm thinking thankyou GOD. I haven't seen Zeitgeist yet
though I'm feeling the bottom line is akin to fear. There are people that will
say if you find a problem and broadcast it than you become responsible for finding the solution. Sometimes I say I know to much for my own good. I'm now understanding and willing to accept I am a parasite. If mother nature does rid itself of me it would be ok. Mother nature won't give something for nothing for very long. I'm thinking civilization has to awaken and understand nothing is permanent. I'm wondering if enough people
understand we are manipulated into enslaving ourselves. Take comfort
knowing that the servant shares in the masters joy. Many of us are like the seed planted among the thorns and bush, we're stunted by their growth. The fertile soil is you(mind) and your body a garden(life) so you must
control the pests and weeds. What keeps us from seeking the truth within ourselves might be weapons of mass distraction with many outside doors blocking our one inside door.
Do you remember you forgot. Do you remember when you didn't observe the outside world and others. I'm thinking we began to lose ourselves and bliss when we started observe.
Wish You Yours and All DIVINE Peace and Joy...loveGOD...loveYou...loveALL
