Hello Everyone,
Whew, had a hard time getting this messageboard to let me post...database troubles.
Anyway, love the topics here and lots of smart people from what I've been able to read. I came here from keywording Buddhist mantras and other Buddhist information. I'd like to learn more about this religion and hopefully get some guidance over at that thread.
Just thought I'd pop in here to say hi and let the people in charge of this site know I finally made it through...(e-mailed them for help posting, as the database errors disallowed)

Hi! My name is Kathy, but on the internet I go by the warrior poo flinger or wpf for short. The username has a story, but I have found more and more reasons why it is relevant and accurate as time goes by.

I have been answering questions on Yahoo! Answers, Religion and Spirituality, for nearly five years and I often refer people to this site, especially the section on Buddhism. I think it's perfect for the beginner or for one who is curious about basic Buddhism.

I've moved away from Yahoo! recently as the answer forum has become a place for disparaging, insulting, harassing, and proselytizing. Instead I am creating a social network focused on religion and philosophy, one that enables chat, discussions, and most importantly, links to other sites such as this one.

I thought it was about time I joined The Big View too, as I have grown so much in my studies, I thought perhaps I could contribute here as well. It's good to finally meet all of you, and I look forward to being a part of this site.
