Just another presentation on the evidence supporting the theory of the planned and controlled demolition of the World Trade Center buildings on September 11th, 2001. Perhaps others have seen this already, but I just came across it today and find myself speechless once again on the topic of what actually happened on 9/11.

Since that day I have been trying to remain skeptical of the conspiracy theories, but so far this is the most well-supported presentation I have seen yet. Unlike the rantings of Alex Jones, or the anonymous producers of Zeitgeist, Richard Gage is an architect, and heading the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (http://www.ae911truth.org/) petition.

It isn't a short one, just under 2 hours long, but worth checking out if you think something is awry with the currently accepted explanations.

I am not an architect, but I remember the thoughts that were racing through my head when I saw the WTC towers collapsing quite clearly. The most pervalent thought at this moment was: "This is horrible," and the second most prevalent thought was: "This is impossible." I have learned a bit more about architecture when I designed and build our house last year and it still seems very unlikely to me, especially the collapse of WTC7. Not that I have an explanation for it or that my opinion counts...

The most pervalent thought at this moment was: "This is horrible," and the second most prevalent thought was: "this is impossible."It is extremely hard to come to terms with the implications. I find myself sitting on the fence, and I have been checking out both sides of the debate since I watched this most recent documentary this afternoon. Video's claiming 9-10 second free-fall, other's showing double that indicating restricted collapse...evidence of thermite, exaggerations of thermite...etc. I can't come to terms with all of that. I also am no architect, and therefore have no idea how two 110-storey buildings should be expected to collapse without the aid of explosives.

But the one question that is really pressing me, is why was nearly all the evidence destroyed?!? Even if you grant that Al-Qaeda did hijack the airliners, and those airliners were responsible for the collapse, why wouldn't a proper examination including thorough collection and documentation of all recovered evidence have be completed? Every sheet of steel, scrap of iron, piece of concrete, it should have been collected, stored in warehouses and reconstructed and/or examined.

The buildings were designed years after a B-25 Bomber crashed into the Empire State Building, and so they had considered such an impact in the architecture of the WTC. So if they had figured that a plane crashing into the building shouldn't have brought it down, then their first question should have been 'why did this building collapse', despite the known fact that a plane flew into it. Even if the architects were to shrug and say, I guess we were wrong, they should have been investigating precisely where they were wrong.

The 'solid' evidence is gone, and I can't help but conclude that the issue will never be resolved.

I agree with you. 9/11 is the 21st century's equivalent of the assassination of John F. Kennedy. I expect people will continue to be debating this issue for the rest of my lifetime.

But truth be told, I don't actually find the issue all that relevant. 9/11 happened, it was horrific---and it's over.

What's of greater concern to me are the people who did it (or claim to have done it, if we wish to take a skeptical attitude) and the subsequent mobilization of military forces and transformation of American society which has followed in its wake. These are still on-going problems.

I see that we have two versions of how the events of 9/11 took place. I have seen several videos and articles by conspiracy theorists and I am also aware of the official version provided by the US government. There is one way in which the two versions differ fundamentally.

Government version names persons responsible for doing it, identifies them with their passports, visas, etc. Not a single entity, such as the governments of their countries or the families and survivors of those persons have come forward to deny their roles in the event.

I have not yet seen any version of the conspiracy theorists that has pointed fingers at the person or persons who orchestrated 9/11 per their version. If I have to take these theorists seriously, I need a detailed account of how it was done and by whom. I need names to take them seriously.

There's an e-book called "The Atlantean Conspiracy" that says that this and many other strange phenomenon are being orchestrated by a group of rich people and some royal families of Europe who want to take over the entire world. That book makes one think that it may well be so as there are many supporting/ circumstantial evidences presented for what it talks about.
