There are a lot of riled up Canadians that think that Fox sucks and I am one of them. I think that they are misinformed and I don't appreciate their vain attempt at "comedy".
I have American Great grandparents, and grandparents, but I was born in Canada. (thank God!) I am really upset that they think that they can get away with this. See the video on Youtube and please comment on what you REALLY think.

Ok. I guess that Aphid is busy, but aren't there any other Canadians out there who think that Fox sucks?

I have been preoccupied lately...but sure, I'm not a fan of the majority of anything aired by Fox (The Simpsons being one exception, and even they poke fun at their host network). Not specifically from what was said recently, but that certainly hasn't encouraged a positive opinion. I mean how can I really take these ignorant comments to heart?

As this reporter suggested on the CBC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8X9tBjt0DUk), all this has done is demonstrate that the most enlightened views expressed on the network are those of Homer Simpson.

It verily sucketh!

The undisputed master of suckdom must be a gentlemen (although this is a contradiction in terms) by the name of O'Gaily or somesuch, whose public display of bad manners and ill-conceived notions does not only irritate Canadian minds.

His imbecilic colleague Gutfield certainly isn't any better. He appears constantly inebriated. Fox News mission appears to be celebrating American ignorance and insulting other countries. Diplomatic plugs have been pulled for less.

Cheers, Thomas

House & Fringe are good. but yeah otherwise Fox sucks, especially what passes for their news. Nationally anyhow. I do have to admit our local affialate is pretty evenhanded when it comes to the news.

Fox at least has the advantage of being transparently awful; its misrepresentations - and outright lies - are there for all to see, unlike the "liberal" media, which do a more subtle, but just as valuable job, of legitimising the illegitimate.

I'm American and I hate Fox News. Nearly everything piece of information that they broadcast has been tainted, manipulated, perverted, or otherwise fabricated. I remember my professor showing our climatology class a clip played on Fox, of a pundit making false allegations against Al Gore, who, according to him, had made up climate statistics. My professor immediately followed this with a clip Gore's remarks and the scientific community corroborating them.

Unfortunately many people hold the words of Fox near that of the Gospel (and most of them hold the Gospel in pretty high regard).

There is a huge regional disparity though. Up north, (I'm in Pennsylvania), the general consensus is that Fox is total bullshit. But when you travel down south, lets just say, it has a monopoly on television sets.

The fact that Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reily, and Rush Limbaugh have so many followers, well that's worse than any nightmare my mind has even conjured during sleep.

I'm American and I hate Fox News.

That's clearly a sign of intelligence.

Fox News has brought journalism to an abject level that would be impossible in many other places. It's viperish, cynic, and it constantly muddles information with propaganda. In the EU they would have been closed down for a long time.

Cheers, Thomas
