Just say it...........
My country is about to enter NATO......... so what do you think..........
It offers............. Free college (only if you don't fail to pass a semester, if you do, you're out........and you have to refund), free public transport, sport courts, gym, officer training, when you finish college you have to stay in the army 2x longer than you went to college, After college you are already officer and you get you own platoon( if I'm right, I don't know how it's named in english, but I think I said correctly)

oh yeah, and it's not like West Point in the US.......... The Army pays for civil college so you get a civil degree and a military one............so when you get out of the Army , you can work like a civilian with a degree

I'm from Croatia..........
..then i think instead of joining NATO you meant joining the European Union [EU]? If Croatia does join the EU you can live and work everywhere within the EU, and having a degree makes things a bit easier. But you also have to realise that all these extra's are just incentives to get you to join the army. Once you signed up, the pretty picture they've painted you may not be as pretty. Keep that in mind when making a choice...
..sidenote: i'm dutch, and i've never been to Croatia but i'm definitly going soon. It's gorgeous over there!

Well, Croatia will join EU, but also we are joining NATO, I support EU and NATO
I've been dreaming about being a soldier till I was little..........I was born during the Homeland War so I was surrounded with military stories........
I just fear than when we join NATO, I could get stuck in a NATO barrack in God-knows-what country, and I don't think that will get me very far in the command chain.......
Well, they say Croatia is beautiful, it's my homeland so I could be a little subjective......... I've never been in Netherlands, I hope I'll have a chance to visit it, I hear that you have beautiful towns there.........

..hey, if you're dreaming about joining the military, and despite that fact are intelligent enough to get degrees that way, i say go for it!
