View Full Version : "My"

Infinite spirit thought forms govern your being, moment by moment by moment. Whatsoever is needed for the moment to fulfill itself, is the spirit of thought arising from the silence of you - "it is so, let there be light."

In order to hear the silence of you so that the infinity of you can be lived, there must first be an acknowledgement that you have, up until the point of intuiting the true reality of your infinite beingness, been self-righteously living the belief, the illusion, that you are the creator of your thoughts.

My philosophy, my religion, my beliefs, my opinions - these are the statements of man's self-righteousness, of his claiming ownership to that which arrives to his conscious awareness from the silence of Infinity. "My" is this attempt to make finite that which is infinite, the error at the core of human (intellectual, sense) thinking. This is ego consciousness feeding on projected images and believing them to be real, believing them to have power, believing them to have substance, when, in truth, no such reality exists, no such power exists, no such substance exists in projected, imagined form.

The light of truth shines always on the illusion that the word "my" has any power of its own accord, but until one begins to unloosen the knot of their belief in the power of "my", the light of truth remains veiled to their awareness.

The message of sages and mystics for over 2,000 years is that your senses are lying to you, and by default, your intellect is lying to you, for it by sense interpretation that the intellect formulates its opinions, beliefs, perceptions and ideas about life, about reality. This is the belief that there is a "my" separate from a "you", with every "my" interpreting life from this imagined "my - you" split. Every religion, every science, every philosophy are the effects of this cause of the belief in primal separation, that is, that there is a subject-object split in the mind of the universe.

On this doctrine of primal separation based on intellectual sense interpretation, man is raised from embryo to old age, alseep to the truth that he is not an embryo in truth, nor is he an old man or an old woman in truth. "Embryo" is an intellectual interpretation of a beginning; "old man" and "old woman" are intellectual interpretations of gender and an ending - interpretations that are false, illusory, for they are based on the lie that reality is or has, a dual personality.

To those who read my words and say "there goes bito again, trying to destroy thought and belief," I say, you are misterpreting my words, for you are interpreting my words from the perspective of your humanism, your belief that you and the Spirit of Thought are separate "I's". The Spirit of Thought, the Infinite I, the Eternal I, moves Itself according to Its Unconditioned Will, an unconditioned will that cannot and does not, enter the world of conditioned thought, that which operates under the false assumption that there are two wills, two selves, two minds, two "I's" - the world of me, my and mine.

Philosophy and religion and science are of no value to the man who seeks the truth of his infinite, eternal nature, except to bring him to the wall or ceiling of all his thought systems. This is not a popular message, but the truth to which it points cannot be denied, for man still seeks 'the perfect belief, the perfect religion, the perfect philosophy' that will reveal to him who he is in truth. Man continues to seek in his recycled philosophies, in spite of the fact that in the thousands of years that he has been seeking in his recycled thoughts, no thought has ever be found that can give him the absolute truth (absolution) of his true Self.

If you acknowledge to yourself that there is one God, one Consciousness, one Life, one Reality and you continue to interpret God, Consciousness, Life, Reality as being two things, then you are deceiving yourself.

The message that dualism is a lie, that man and God are beings separated by morals and ethics, is a message of hope, of love, of grace, for when the idea that the One I can be split into good and evil is rejected, man discovers he is (Pure) Spirit. Spirit knows not of birth nor of death, Spirit is not born, Spirit does not die. This is the discovery of one's true immortality, one's true permanent Identity. Herein lies the discovery of Self Awareness, of uncondtioned Love.

Why continue to seek for substitutes in the world of conditioning, of "I am becoming," when you can live your unconditioned truth, "I am?"

:)

How can a structure like thought come from infinity?

scam, thought is thought to be solid, to be a structural thing, because man believes its senses when they tell it that it is a separate entity living amongst other separate entities, each entity thinking about what is it 'like' to be a separate, solid entity - a thing amongst things, thinking about things.

This is the suffering of the "I" that believes it is separate from that which it sees, hears, tastes, touches and smells, and from this belief that it is separate from its own awareness of Itself, defines its world according to the split ideas of good and evil (good and evil images, sounds, flavors, textures and odors.)

In the world of the conditioned mind, thought is believed to be divided, as if it belongs to two 'you's' - as if there is a good you and an evil you, with both 'you's' being experienced as being in constant tension with one another, as if one is ever struggling to have dominion over the other.

scam, there is but one way to be released from this belief that Thought is divided into two 'you's' and that is to go within the One You that is You, the silence of your Being and discover, for yourself, the nature of Thought before it enters your world of conditioning of good and evil thinking, your belief that the Spirit of Thought could possibly become a solid, finite thing called 'a structure like thought.'

scam, your signature is a quote from Joseph Campbell - are you guided at all by the spirit of his thought?

bito, your use of 'my' reminds me of the time when my children first used the words 'my' and 'mine'. I won't pass comment on what I heard when they used the words. What I do instead is ask anyone who reads this to listen to a very young child using those words and report back on what they hear.

Interesting that the purest form of a human mind does end up forming a subjective complex. :)

Bito, yes my signature is from Joseph Campbell, and I like him somewhat yes. But the specific quote I have speaks to me heavily and essentially puts into writing one of my most fundamental spiritual feelings/views. I have a liking of intuitive knowledge by realization as a means of learning about truth, and I often find being totally objective and observing things about existence, such as existing itself, to be spiritual. I have made many key spiritual/philosophical insights using this, many of which perplex me heavily.
