View Full Version : Bullshit on the internet.

I was looking for gay porn, (yes I do that), and became very dissatisfied. So in mild frustration, I decided to type in the Google search bar "intelligent gay porn". This is what I found at one of the websites listed. Do not be alarmed. There are in fact no images of gay porn.
But if you would like to "read" what I did find, you must quickly press the stop button or it will go to a different, unrelated webpage.
If you are remotely curious then go to http://qisite.info/bdsm/brutal-bdsm-video
If you are quick enough, and happen to read the page that I am describing, then I have to ask WTF? (And I don't use this acronym often or for that matter lightly.)
I really only posted this thread because I was unable to reply to whoever posted that webpage, and thought that someone here on the Big View had run into something like this. What is this doing under intelligence in any classification? Has anyone else run into psycho babble that passes as intelligence on the web? Please rant here.:wallbash:

In the two empty blocks are cartoon images, so if you would like to view them I would suggest that you type in the web address independent of this link. Still, they haven't any association to the article.

Hi Trevor,

With all respect, I think your problem may be trying to find "intelligent porn" (of any variety, gay, straight, etc). It seems pretty obvious to me that's something of an oxymoron. If it's "intelligent" or appeals to your intelligence, it's not porn.
And in general, complaining about stupid stuff being on the internet is like going to the desert and complaining about the afternoon heat. :)

To be honest, when I look up porn of any variety, I prefer real porn, like amateur or whatever, to like porn stars. It just seems better to me, less fake.

Google search with INTELLIGENT" gay Porn. That is interesting
Well, I was drunk at the time.
Maybe "INTELLIGENT" wasn't the correct word that I should have been searching with. I guess I meant erotic or better quality, instead of the usual stuff.
The reason I began this thread is that what I found didn't qualify under intelligent or even gay.
It was straight and....stupid.

Ok so basically this site is the worm for the hook right?
It looks like complete garble; but, if you look closer the sentences are made up of popular search phrases. It's like a giant net of phrases that sit in search engines' databases.
Then you notice once it has caught you it then redirects immediately to its dating site or whatever it is it wants to promote.

hey Smurfie! where ya been? :)
I'd like to say something profound along the lines of "great journey that is life" or perhaps exploring my personal bildungsroman. But that'd be glorifying it unecessarily!
Had a break, got a special person in my life, sorting things out :)

Well, Trevor, I'm not sure what "intelligent gay porn" looks like to you. For me, intelligent gay porn has several characteristics:
The photography (if it is a photo) needs to be excellent. This is less a matter of the camera working, and much more a matter of a sensitive and perceptive eye behind the camera. The models also need to be erotically engaged. Mere erections are not enough.
If the medium is not photography, then the image should be more than a duplication of a photographic image. Paul Cadmus comes to mind as an artist who does better than a photo. There are scores of sites which host really good erotic art work (intelligent porn?).
Models should exhibit originality in their appearance. Way too many clones. The erotic body is so standardized that almost any deviation from the hyper-buffed 6 pack gut shaved hair complicated tribal or pictorial tattoo body norm is sort of exciting.
Now, intelligent porn isn't usually what one is looking for, in which case a different set of standards apply, which perhaps one can discuss, ever so carefully. I mean, you know, describing the kind of porn that really turns one on becomes porn of a sort, which probably wouldn't fly. Would it?

Yes MRJ, I could have typed in erotic instead of intelligent for the search criteria, but I decided on intelligent because I was looking for something that didn't qualify as erotic, and that was not the norm, but out of the ordinary. Something that involved not only my hormones and maybe made me think about what I was seeing, even though it was pornography. I didn't have anything specific in mind.
It was the one and only time I did it. More or less I was just fishing.
