Time has come to watch "Zeitgeist: Addendum (http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/)".
The first one, "Zeitgeist, the movie", was excellent. This one is mind blowing.
We can discuss afterwards.

I watched it a few days ago...I will post a longer response a little later when I have more time, but I thought it was overall a decent movie with the exception of a few segments here and there...mostly dealing with the "Venus Project."

I saw this film recently and was left wondering what would life be like without monetaryism, I mean, what would replace it? Barter? Also I was left wondering why at the end of the film we see people discarding religion-symbolically -taking off the cross etc. but the narrrator at one point is a Tibetan Buddhist advising us on how to give into the present moment...I thought it was a little ironic...

I learned two new useful words from this:
- corporatocracy (it already has a Wikipedia entry)
- economic hit man (coined by John Perkins)
The movie makes a very good point around 50:00. The US Department of Defense gets billions of dollars each year to spend on international terrorism. However, the average deaths each year from violent acts of terrorism is lower than than the average deaths each year from peanut allergies. This really puts things into perspective.
Cheers, Thomas
