Two forces, one negative and the other positive, the equivalent of yin and yang, exist within the infinity of spacetime, constantly interacting with one another, creating energy of both repulsion and attraction. This energy is the substance of the universe as we perceive it, dividing materials and unifying activity to illustrate a sensory field in which the energy can find new methods of interacting with itself. The eternal cycle of our universe is based upon electrical bonds and the hallucination that gives us the right to escape from the original form of life.

Discuss.

You are not separate from this energy that is symbolized by the union of male/female aspects of Self. And being that you are not separate, there cannot be two forces at work. This is the mind attempting to grasp the meaning of this projected image of Self as Form (the yin-yang symbol).

Yin-yang symbolizes the infinite nature of form, which is You, which is Me! :loveyou: Form appears before the sense awareness as if solid, or as if fluid, ergo the desire for the mind caught in dualism to discuss form as if it is finite and separate, when in truth, form is empty of all thought content. If form were to actually contain objective thought content within its 'essence' - "I am this thought or I am that thought, I am positive, I am negative", form would cease to be infinite, form creation would cease to be.

The illumed intellect is Self trying to grasp its singular nature, its essence and presence of Oneness. :tao:

that is true, the self contains the elements of both hemispheres, and acts as the completed version of the universe throughout singular life. however, with sex and conception comes a separation of these two halves into the minds of two separate beings, so that they, the beings, contain the completed version of only one half of the universe, and pass this knowledge, thought, onto the new born. so yin yang is not the vision of the self, rather the vision of the whole, and the self cannot fulfil the whole for in the whole there must also exist a non-self to compensate, otherwise there is no balance. the self within the symbol of the yin yang might represent instead the circle that surrounds the opposites, for it is the self that defines image, and is an eternal concept, as opposed to the competition between the yin and yang in forming life.

Why two? Why not three, or seven, or countless billions? I think if anything, this thought describes the way the brain works more than the way the universe works.

Can life be defined by energy, male, female, this or that when all within the universe function according to one law? Where does the law of life separate yin from yang when they are joined by their definition of one line? Where does the effect become separated from the cause, or to be more explicit, where do you begin and end by dimensions? How can a final frontier be exposed when the beginning frontier has never can into view?
