I'm sorry my friends, but I feel that after nearly six thousand posts on this forum, it is time for me to permanently depart. This is not the fault of anyone here but myself, or anyone elsewhere for that matter. Recently, I have been feeling as if I pushing myself on the people here and causing problems that wouldn't normally be, and I now believe this to be the case, even if those here do not necessarily recognize it. I feel that my mental problems, my emotional problems, and my essential lack of maturity and intellectual apptitude make my participation here not only inept but destructive in nature, and I am sorry that I have failed to recognize this before now. I'm sorry you all have had to persist through my antics. But, I cannot keep causing said strife. I think that it would be best if I simply left the forum. Thank you all for a wonderful six thousand posts, and I hope you all have a wonderful life. I also hope this forum can continue in greater harmony and mutual satisfaction. Goodbye my friends. It's been quite a journey. :grouphug::loveyou:

I wouldnt say you have pushed yourself on people, you do have a strong personality but I like that. I wouldn't say you were causing problems, rather adding your view to naturally complex and touchy subjects, that is the way of philosophy and religion. Anyway good luck in your search for truth, and I wish you a sweet farewell friend. Goddesses and Gods bless thee. Goodbye, I wish you well and luck- Brett.

So long Scameter. I hope you decide to come back at some point, keeping us informed of your spiritual/intellectual/philosophical progress. Either way however, best of luck.

scam, from your description you sound like a number of people on the site, including myself. I don't agree with you 90% of the time, but you do make life more interesting for many here and provide considerable and valuable stimulus.

It was quite dull in your last absence. So don't be so hard on yourself and don't be such a drama queen. Delete this thread, pull up a stool, have a beer and philosophise.

Hey, Scameter, you are one of the reasons I come back from to time. I was so happy to see you posting again, I jumped in and starting posting too.

Personally, I have my moments when I want to go hid and never expose myself to the internet world again. These are very bad times and I hate going through them. I think some of us just have to accept we go through these really bad times, and not let them defeat us. I am not Christian, but I heard a Christian say such bad times are Satan doing his evil thing. I sure don't want to let Satan win, and I am sure your don't either.

What did I miss?
I haven't been visiting as much as I used to, and I saw that you had just decided to return, and were writing that you were happy to be back after such a long absence.
Now I see that you are leaving again.
Is this a comet thing? A day/night thing?
I think that it's ok to leave and return. And leave and return. If I died tonight, and never posted here again, would I be missed?
No matter if you come back or not, for anyone of us for that matter, our contributions to the big view will never be diminished.
Even if I am an unregistered guest who just likes to read the posts and articles, without posting any of my own, that is adding to the big view. Remember? The big view?
It's as if you never even left scameter! :)
