This year I did not celebrate at home. We went out to a remote forest monastery to offer donations to the resident monks. The monastery is quite remote. It's located in the jungle close to the Burmese border. There are a number of caves which have been "converted" to meditation halls. We spent the night in a candle-lit cave. The sounds of the jungle and the starry night sky were amazing.
