Depends on who you ask I guess. Some sources will say I am Virgo, while others state Libra. I was born right on the cusp of the two. I tend to lean towards Libra, though. I also have more in common with the proposed personality of the Scales.

I don't place too much emphasis on astrology myself, but I like sharing a 'sign' with the likes of John Lennon (October 9, 1940) and Mahatma Gandhi (October 2, 1869).

Why is the poll going to close on 11th April 2008 at 9.47 am?
Wouldn't be the moment you were born, now would it?
If so, it seems to me that that should be an opening moment.

Best astrological character analysis I ever came across was the combined East/West views .

Scorpio/Dragon- the best and worst combo of them all. Stubborn, proud, forceful, vengeful, quick tempered and we are supposed to be capable of great evil. On the other hand it is said our loyalty is in it's own league, our determination goes through the roof, we are very tenacious, focused, willpowered, passionate and we are supposed to be capable of great good.
Btw I have a link to a site which shows you your eastern and western zodiacs combined if anyone is interested:
http://www.usbridalguide.com/special/chinesehoroscopes/Dragon.htm
I could not access the main site- so from there you will have to go to your chinese sign at the top then from that page look for "East meets west"

Cool site, I am the Libran Rabbit. I noticed that every attribute that doesn't fit me with Libra is supplied by the Rabbit and vice versa. By the way, love your name...long live Jiraiya =(

Jirai, it's good to see another scorpio here, though I myself am also a horse. :)

Well I have always thought of the horse as a noble and proud animal! I still find it funny that the first name of my favourite actress Uma Thurman means horse in Japanese! Uma means horse! lol

Yup it's like yin and yang- I always liked that idea because it doesn't infer that as Old Testament does that we can only do good or evil and punished likewise- when it's more realistic to say we are capable of both easily. Yes it is so sad about that Jiraiya- but I don't reveal naruto spoilers! So when people say to me Jiraiya is a pervert I will say yes but he was a hero too! Unlike snakey Orochimaru who was just a murderer and a fiend. BTW I share the same birthday with Jiraiya according to narutofan.com- November the 11th- therefore Jiraiya is a Scorpio, and he is lecherous! Orochimaru is a Scorpio which fits the traditional power hungry scorp lol. Your name is cool- is it Japanese? I know Aka means red but I'm not sure what "mu" means- or the word Akamu as a whole.

Jiraiyathesage: Your name is cool- is it Japanese? I know Aka means red but I'm not sure what "mu" means- or the word Akamu as a whole.
Akamu is actually Hawaiian for my real name (Adam.) I tweaked it from "Akuma" which means "demon" in Japanese because I once read "Akamu" wrong and thus the Japanese word for demon was my handle for a long time. I have since corrected my mistake. I do like the name Akuma better though. :)
I'm going have to look up some birthdays in Naruto and see if I share any...at least an astrological sign.
Edit: *sigh* of course I share a birthday with Yamanaka Ino (whom I despise.) I am also one day away from Nara Shikamaru (one of my top favorite characters and whose personality is quite like mine lol.) I am nowhere near genius level, but I share his joy of strategy and mental stimulation as well as his extreme laziness.

Eh? Naruto? Is that what you young whippersnappers are watching these days? ;)
I don't suppose anyone is old enough to remember Neon Genesis Evangelion, or Tenchi Muyo! or Ranma or Gundam Wing, etc....?

Certainly! Well, Evangelion will always be a favorite...Gundam Wing a looong time ago. Ghost in the Shell perhaps? Wonderful anime.

I didn't know that. :)

Yes, the OT law was unrealistic. Fortunately, it was made precisely to be impossible, and is irrelevant now.

I never really was a manga/anime fan, though I do remember Gundam Wing, as well as Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokimon. The only anime I ever liked was Dragonball Z, which I was heavily into and still enjoy when it's actually on TV.

Akamu: Yeah I recognised the similarity with Akuma- i rememeber it from the series samurai Jack! Wait there was a street fighter character of that name too. And the linguistic connection with evil- Aku being Japanese for unpleasant situation or activity (under the definition of evil) and i rember Kame Sen'nin (master Roshi) in dragonball mentioning in the manga how the character "ma" meant demon, in the context of the King Piccolo arc. Lol you got Ino! In fairness she is part of an awesome team- Shikamaru+Choji= Team pwnage!
Taeguk- Good sir (sorry if you are actually a madam) I will have you know  that I have seen about 90 episodes of Ranma half- and despite it's incoherence at times find it an anime masterpiece. I own all of Dragonball- the manga which spans from 1984-1995! I am also an incurable Sailor Moon fan- having seen all 200 episodes! I was a Tenchi fan back in the day- i still am i havent found the anime subbed yet tho online- If anyone can help me please do. Akira is also a masterpiece. Gundam Wing i used to watch. Outlaw Star, Trigun or Slayers anyone? How about Flame of Recca or Tenjo Tenge?
Ah someone should start a manga and anime thread here, it seems we have enough people who were and possibly are still fans! Also Scameter reminded me Taeguk- I keep reading right the way through the whole series of Yugioh since i have that whole series in manga form- it took years of patience for the releases in English and some money saved up- but I did it!
