I was wondering if anyone else here uses a blog. Though I have only posted a couple blog entries in the past, I am planning on beginning a new blog on myspace.com about the Bible, God and truth as I see it, posting a new blog in a semi-periodical manner. Does anyone else have a blog? (Btw, if anyone's interested in my blog, please feel free to ask for a link to it. :) )

I wouldn't mind a link to your blog...always interesting seeing one's views.

I don't have one myself. I tried a couple times but am frankly too lazy and too shy to put my opinions or ideas out in the striking range of other people. I just blog to myself now in my own journals =)

I used to have one, but it was more along the lines of half-portfolio half-blog. I enjoyed doing it, but when I transfered hosting I took it down to do some "maintenance" & I've been too busy to really get it back up. :(

I am maintaining a blog at www.thomasknierim.com (http://www.thomasknierim.com) for roughly 2 years. It's about my work (web development and software engineering). The blog has generated very little public interest. It's mainly a way to keep in touch with colleagues and clients for me, or just another way of communicating.

Cheers, Thomas

Here's a link to my blog: http://www.myspace.com/tankare which, btw, will more than likely not be exclusively about one particular belief system, such as that espoused by the Bible, but merely about truth.

I of course won't say this about every blog I make, and probably not about any other blog I post, but I just wanted to tell everyone that I posted my first weekly blog on myspace.com for everyone to enjoy. :)

scameter: I was wondering if anyone else here uses a blog.

I was too lazy to make a real websites so a decided to run blogs.
And I run two of them.

The first one, Top Documentary Films (http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/), I thought that is going to bring some revenue for me, but it turned out that this Internet business is very hard or you have to be very dedicated and spend a lot of time in to it. So for now, it is stagnating.

The second one, Truth Explorer (http://truth-explorer.com/), is very simple. There I'm just posting my texts that appear here.

Do you have to pay to have those blogs? The artwork you did on them is very intricate, if indeed you did them I mean.

I had to pay for the hosting and for the domain names of course. There are numerous hosting companies out there for that purpose.

Since my sites actually are blogs, and blogs are usually running on some publishing platforms I've chosen Wordpress as my publishing platform. So the artworks that you see there are actually ready-made, free Wordpress themes, slightly modified by me. I only have to publish my material and do some finishing touches.

As I said making a real site consumes time and lot of creativity, so I decided to run blogs. There you don't do any coding, you are just publishing your content. I started with real sites at the beginning, year ago, but the blog is more interactive, since people can leave comments, so I converted my previous sites to blogs.

Cheers, Vlatko

Cool. I was just curious.
