Hello!

How about posting pictures or photographs that you consider interesting?

Perhaps they can give others something to think in a different way.

Here it goes one that I like

(no commets needed, I think)

Well, if you would like to hear my immediate reaction to that picture, I saw the tanks and thought they were cool and interesting looking. But, then I saw the person infront of them and remembered Tennemon Square and got sad. But, thinking the tanks were cool was my first emotional response. :)

scameter

Well, if he means Tennemon Square Will, it was that a bunch of college students rioted in China for their freedom, and they were ran over by tanks.

My dad went there about 12 years ago. He had recently been studying Billy the Kid and all of the state's history and was extremely interested in it and so he went, for....I'm not sure how long, but he's told me many times that it is both his dreamland and favorite state. I don't think there was as much crime there then as now, but he didn't stay in the cities much. He prefered the wildernesses and the small places, plus that was where Billy went to alot, like Fort Sumner. :)

WilliamMckeehan
22nd January 2006, 08:16 AM

I love computers. I don't know what I would do without them. They're my essential portal into my true self; it allows me to properly express myself and to be myself without fear of being seen, in a sense. Which is why, to avoid problems, I never mess or tinker or advance it, except for like a patch or a security update or something. Nothing hardware-oriented. :D

Many of my friends here in India are in Microsoft call centres. They tell these incidents of people asking wierd questions to which they attend to. There are some very popular jokes out here.

*************

Tech Support:: "What does the screen say now?"
Customer: "It says, 'Hit ENTER when ready'."
Tech Support:: "Well?"
Customer: "How do I know when it's ready?"

*************

Tech Support: "I need you to right-click on the Open Desktop."
Customer: "Ok."
Tech Support: "Did you get a pop-up menu?"
Customer: "No."
Tech Support: "Ok. Right click again. Do you see a pop-up menu?"
Customer: "No."
Tech Support:: "Ok, sir. Can you tell me what you have done up until
this
point?"
Customer: "Sure, you told me to write 'click' and I wrote 'click'."

*************

Customer:: "Do I need a computer to use your software?"
Tech Support:: ?!%#$

*************

Tech Support:: "Ok, in the bottom left hand side of the screen, can
you
see
the 'OK' button displayed?"
Customer: "Wow. How can you see my screen from there?"
*************

Tech Support:: "What type of computer do you have?"
Customer:: "A white one."

:lol: :lol: Deepak!

and yes trojans are very bad meh, well you know mozilla firefox? there are if any no viruses programmed for firefox, and it is better than anything microsoft can do. also i like linux Os' because they allow you to have the source code, basically they say here you go for free and you can do anything with it. no money involed. they are trustworthy and free and very good programmers. a lot of modern programmers are going for them. awesome :thumbsup:

Deepakgang: Lol! :lol:
Fortunatly I haven't exprienced any problems like that. I'm glad the problems didn't persist.
Microsoft is a very good, reliable company. I've never exprienced any difficulties.
I'm going to get firefox installed as soon as I perchase a new computer...

Smurf
29th January 2006, 01:50 PM
God! that's so beautiful! :) :) wow!

.why is it that no viruses have been written for it...

because all the hackers have been focusing on the flaws in explorer, and firefox is relativley new and stronger than explorer. and yes Venus good idea! :thumbsup:

scameter

I see a lot of hotlinked images here. Are they copyrighted? Did you get permission? I am not aware of any legal restrictions regarding hotlinking, but if this material isn't yours and you didn't get permission this starts to worry me.
