lol that was so fake. the only reason i like my birthday is because i get money and different foods than normal, however cynical that sounds. actually, if i was completely honest about it, i would celebrate my hatred of that day of my being born into this tortuous world or idiocy and inhumanity. just thought i'd say a couple things about it :P

first off
Happy Birthday My Friend
and second "We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers...Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of Budweiser, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls...But the only thing that worried me was the ether."
-From Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, by Hunter S. Thompson.
that is the best signature i have seen :D good movie as well
should read the book but oh well
in age we grow more wise

:) Thanks guys so much. Honestly, i don't like birthdays, i think it's merely another capitalist attempt to make money through the selling of items to the public on said day, but it's the feeling and the emotion that counts, as is with everything in life. Thanks guys. :)
:D Sonrisa. I wish it could've been like Hunter's; ether rocks!!!

Well i'm sure that's easy for you to say venom. Obviously you aren't in a torturous hell everyday; as you've said, God is with you as you see it. I'm sure life could be good if ignorance was spread, as Nietzsche said, and it is for most people, but i just can't lie to myself. Even when i try to, and don't think that i don't want to because i do, i can't; maybe i'm just not as enlightened as you or anyone else, but if that is true then it is, and i am unenlightened. If not being able to lie to one's self is unenlightenment then i am unenlightened, whatever. There's nothing i can do about it. And frankly, even if there is i would rather not, because if there is it is a recent uprising, and whatever put it there so soon i don't want to help be accepting it's "grace". I would rather continue suffering as it made me to in the beginning of my existence.

I would rather continue suffering as it made me to in the beginning of my existence
are saying would rather suffering as though suffering can define imagining "me" "my existence"?
scameter
11th November 2005, 04:50 AM
Well, in a way suffering can define my existence. But not really. Words make an experience secondhand; one would have to live my life to understand it.

hmmmm.... sounds like you're going thru some teenage stuff Scam. The good news is :D you'll outgrow it!! :D
scameter
11th November 2005, 08:34 AM
Well, i'm sorry to disagree sonrisa but i do. I think that it's sad how nearly everyone that is over the teen years explains every problem a teen has as a purely teen issue and that it will be outgrown. Which is erroneous.

i will say Teens do have more problems but that doesnt mean they will grow out of them maybe just see them in a diffrent way when there older?
hang in there scameter

won't what Scam- hang in there, or see things in a different way?
you are a Scorpio. Scorps can be pretty stubborn.....
you know, whenever grown-ups tell you you'll outgrow something, could it possibly be that maybe it's becuz we've been there, done that, &- guess what!- we outgrew it! That's why we're :D grown up! :D It's hormones Scam, right now yours are all haywire. They'll settle down eventually. Everybody goes thru it. And everybody's hormones settle down. Well most everybody's anyhow. You'l see. :)
Course you could try to do as Will suggests & look at things in a different way. Life is what we make of it & if you want to live in a torturous hell & have suffering define your existence..... (shrug)
otoh, maybe you should define torturous hell & what kind of suffering you are going thru. If it's over & beyond the usual teenage stuff then maybe you need to go see your school counsellor or something.
ok Scam, I just saw your last post in the Gay Bashing Sucks forum. If you are gay, then you're right, you ain't gonna outgrow it. So you're gonna have to deal with it. I can see why you say your life s a torturous hell, what with all those flippin Baptists running around loose down there. Lord I couldn't put up with those fools & I'm straight as a board. Is that why you don't want to see your school counsellor, is s/he one of those bigoted fools? There's nothing wrong with you, that's just how your brain is wired. Do as Will sez & look at it in a different way- keep telling yourself there's nothing wrong with you. I know that's small comfort, but eventually you'll turn 18 & then you can move to Atlanta. I know some gay guys there who will take you in... :)

Umm well actually i'm homeschooled so it would be kinda hard :D But thanks for saying your frist couple paragraphs sonrisa, i now see that most adults are the same in many, many respects. I'm glad you can think as you do; believe me, being different isn't all it's cracked up to be. :)
And about your last paragraph, I would but i'm homeschooled. Although i do believe i am gay, or at least like 80% so, it doesn't really affect the people around me, for one because my dad doesn't care how i act(not to say that he lets me be a hellian or anything, which i wouldn't be mainly because i don't want to be and secondly because i'm not an idiodic barbarian like most my age), i could be gay and he probably wouldn't mind it. But, no-one around me except people online know about my homosexuality at all. Kids at school may have funningly called my gay, but that was just to be a cock head. They weren't actually concerned about it. Which is one of the reasons i am so damned glad that i'm homeschooled.
