The best portion begins at about 38:30 and goes to the end. It's from a routine by Julia Sweeney.

Mormons, Catholics, and a realization of no God.

Julia Sweeney was a member of Saturday Night Live. The radio routine ( from National Public Radio

Julia Sweeney was most famous on Saturday Night Live for her character named "Pat"... Pat was a fat hermaphrodite with curly, dark hair, big glasses and dressed like a nerd. Pat also talked with this very creepy, nasal voice.

When "Pat" was in a skit, the funny part was where everybody tried to figure out whether Pat was a male or female... And Pat always talked in a way where you could never really figure it out.

Also, it was funny to watch how nobody could ever come right out and ask Pat if it was male or female, because of society's codes of politeness. And Pat always talked like it was obvious what it was, but always talked in this weird gender-neutral way.
