When you reply to a topic in thebigview.com discussion board, you have two choices: either you click on the QUOTE button on top of a post, or you click on the ADD REPLY button at the bottom or the top of the page.
If you click on QUOTE, the forum software will copy the entire text of the quoted post into a text box entitled "Original Post to Quote" below the input text. Please edit this text to display only the passages you actually respond to. Do not duplicate the entire post you are responding to, as this will bulk up the database unnecessarily. It will also make it more difficult to browse and print topics. Thank you!
If you reply by clicking ADD REPLY, you can still quote passages by copying text from a message into the edit box and by putting it between two quote tags. Use [/QUOTE] to end a quotation and [QUOTE] to start a quotation. Thanks!
