View Full Version : Pentagon Closes Military Bases

During the second world war, boys too young for military service and men too old, defended the west coast with family guns and dynamite. Fortunately the incinary devices sent from Japan were ineffective, and I heard of only one Japanese submarine being trapped in a bay while citizens watched with their family guns for several days before the airforce arrived.
Whatever, the Pentagone has decided to close an ariforce base in Oregon and I think the concern about this could be justified.

Our headline says "180 sites on Pentagon hit list". 33 major bases will be closed and changes will be made in the rest to reduce defense budget spending. But while we are cutting back on home land defense spending, we are increasing the millions of dollars spent in Iraq, on a war that demostrated to the whole world we will make a first strike if we so chose and even if the United Nations is opposed to us doing so. That pretty much makes us the most threatening rogue nation on earth, and some how this will make us safer? <_<

Perhaps instead of living out our karma, we should create an alternative one? Hum, how did this become the karma of our democracy anyway?

the Govt is cutting defense spending to help finance it's military invasion spending. There's a big difference between the 2, CS.

From what I understand from various discussions concerning the national karma, we are entering a black period of our history. It is necessary to elevate our spiritual awareness. After 2012, there will be no room for the NWO, so-called "Christians", & other throwbacks to hate, racism, & other ills from this dying cycle. These evils must be purged in order to raise our national consciousness, basically we have to see the cockroaches in order to deal with them. So that is why these awful things are happenng right now. Or so I have heard.

Okay, then that means we are safe from invasion and the actual need to defend ourselves, right? We only need to secure the rest of the world, and this is somehow national defense? I think I am confused!

Oh you mean we could be invaded and caught with our pants down?

What paradox. To be armed and yet not poisitioning those arms from the possiblity of invasion.

On the late show the host joked we are cutting back on defense spending so we afford another unnecessary war.

yeah, Dave should be running the country. Now that would rock

I have heard that the bushits would actually welcome an invasion or another attack. Give em an excuse to officially do away with the Constitution & install a military state. I know, that sounds like some conspiracy stuff, but personally, I wouldn't put nothing past those bastards.

We adopted the German model of bureaucracy long ago. This is actually Prussian military bureaucracy applied to citizens, and it is what makes our federal government so powerful. I don't think this is good for democracy. I wish there were greater awareness that we are no longer order by family order. Even if threw evert weapon in the ocean, we would be ordered by military order. I do not understand why there is so little concern about this, while at the same time people are willing to support a war defending democracy? I think better understanding of what I am saying could promote world peace.
