I would like to ask to the main responsibles of this forum about the possibility of opening a discussion topic about history and/or anthropology.
I would like also to suggest about discussing the law.

History and anthropology? Excellent and interesting topics!

For the moment, I suggest to post pertaining contributions either into "Philosophy" or "Politics / Social Issues". Sure, we could introduce a number of new forums in an attempt to direct new contributions to their proper place, but in the end the users of this website would have to click through all this categories to get to the posts. This might just be too annoying.

Actually, given the current level of postings, I am inclined to do the opposite and reduce the number of existing forums.

I fully agree when you say that the more the topics there is, the hardest it is to find them!
But you could perhaps "close" or erase some of the topics that are no long being used.
I shall do what you suggest whenever I feel to talk anbout history;

Anthropology is nice, but it is really politically incorrect to talk about races nowadays. The service provider may think of it as a form that harm minorities, you should really check the TOS before creating such forums.

Anyway, History and Anthropology is, however, a great idea, and i can make extremely good contributions to both forums. :)

Political correctness is not on my agenda, and I doubt that it is on the agenda of the web hosting company. There wouldn't be much of a discussion if everyone were required to limit his/her contributions to ideas that are generally accepted. I am not tolerating abuse, insult, threats, etc., but I am certainly willing to tolerate political incorrectness.

I just pointed that out as many webhosts consider just simple anthropology a threat to minorities.

Anthropology is both Cultural and Physical, the difference of, for instance, a Capoid and an Atlantid is obvious and I'm sure it will be pointed out sooner or later. Considering differences between races is often called racism nowadays.

I only believe (perhaps mistakenly) that Budhism should be integrated in religion to provide space!

Actually, I would also like to see a history forum. it's one of my favorite topics academically, and i would love to see the views of others. there aren't many other places on the web., especially chat forums like this one, about history, and i think it would most definitely suit this site. :)
