Well of those mutha ****ers, as u say scam only follows their instits which tells them to destroy and hit smaller scams like u :D Its not their fault, they are simply too dum.

scameter
1st January 2006, 11:59 PM
Instincts wouldn't tell them that. Unfortunately, that takes thought and choice to do what they do, which is near-concrete evidence of their evil.

MidnightSun
2nd January 2006, 12:02 AM
Well there are insticts which harms, but i would say its coz of bad education. TV shows, cruel movies and so on..They couldnt resist the influence of that stuff and...

scameter
2nd January 2006, 12:03 AM
I resisted it.

Smurf
2nd January 2006, 08:49 AM
no Scam, instincts can take over a person, it is pretty bad when it happens, but it does. they enter a state of not realising anything, they can't see what they do, or think ahead, they just do stuff. which in a Human's sense of the word is "bad"

MidnightSun
2nd January 2006, 11:17 PM
Instincts makes you a beast. And a beast is selfish and can do anything to fulfill its needs. It harms others.

scameter
3rd January 2006, 06:57 AM
Oh? Then maybe what I have felt of instincts is different than what you've felt. Because to me, instintcs, in both humans and in other animals, takes away the good-bad creator(thought) and makes us act based on pure, nonaffiliated action, that is defined for the best efficieny. It has it's place, just as logic does. I was watching a whale show on PBS a couple days ago and it showed how this baby whale got stuck on the shore and couldn't get off. It then showed it's mother, and it didn't think about it, it didn't discuss it with the other whales, and it did it without fallacy; it merely went up to the whale, encouraged it to use it's tail and fins to push it's self, then when it got closer to the mother the mother pushed the baby to help it, then the baby used it's fins and tail harder to push it's self entirely off the beach. To me, that takes away all this beatiality and horrible lack of thought you two are talking about, or if what you say is true it only counts for humans, which's thought ability would influence it's instincts to create this effortless thought beastiality.

Smurf
3rd January 2006, 08:17 AM
oh but as you say that it creates a pure thinking, back to the cores of our brains no? this means they think without principles, which means they can be selfish, or caring as you say.

scameter
3rd January 2006, 03:02 PM
No. That's not what i said. I said that, because selfishness and a lack of caring and similar negative things exist from thought, and humans are predominantly thought-bound, when we use instincts our thought influences it to make it, if it even ever does or can, negative. But our instincts, as with all instincts, are good.

Smurf
3rd January 2006, 06:14 PM
this goes back heavily to the discussion on what is "good" and "bad" but i will not start that off again :D

instincts know no principles, that is what i am trying to say. a human who is not bound by instincts makes decisions based on their fundamental principles that are embedded in their brain. before the decision is made the information passes throught the filters created by these principles. that is what i am trying to say, a person ruled by instincts does not have these principles, he knows not how to make or abtain these, he/she only makes decisions based on the primevil mindset layed out for them in their brains. they do not create filters of what they believe they do not have beliefs. they just are. one would say the epitimy of Taoism? :)

scameter
5th January 2006, 02:37 AM
But there are no embeded principles in humans. The only ones that are are the ones programmed into us in our childhood and on by society. Logic and the rest of the human mind, not including instincts, run on what the person wants to do, which is mainly emotional. People are an extremely emotional species. Instincts run on what is naturally logical, not what is influenced by human emotion, which does not only include compassion and happiness, but includes anger, fear, hate, murderability, and depressive self-destruction. But yes, instincts are at the empitemy of Taoism. No-thought, wu wei. :)

Smurf
5th January 2006, 10:06 AM
yep, but when does an animal stop what it is doing and start realising in order to turn back into itself again? sort of understanding does not occur with instincts

scameter
6th January 2006, 12:05 AM
I agree entirely, and that is why I made the addition to my "Triangle" on a topic in Science, because I do not think instincts exist. "Instincts" are merely the combination of pure logic (no emotion) and memory.

Smurf
6th January 2006, 10:50 AM
hmm i think we should move this discussion to the science thread to make it easier, see you there

scameter
9th January 2006, 12:05 AM
By bi I don't mean that I act half manly and half "girly". I mean that I am attracted to both sexes. Even though I do have both feminine and masculine characteristics, don't mistake that for saying I'm manly or "girly".

And, I think that it is the tantra of acceptence that people ALWAYS deny and are almost unable entirely to perform.

Atlanta, Georgia, is one of the most crime-infested areas of both the country and the world, which is why I try to avoid it. Oddly, most of the people here aren't intelligent enough to be crimeful, which should tell you something. :D

WilliamMckeehan
19th January 2006, 12:48 PM

Let me tell you Scam Europe is the BEST!

They are so much more mature than America in so many ways! the drinking age is 16 average so they have intergrated drinking into their cultures. so not much binge drinking, or psychos than America. But you don't see any of this Suing bullshit in the courts, they just say "Hey it's you fault, deal with it" How Awesome?!

That's a good idea! Try it!
To others: Visit Britain! Never live in it! It is becoming a third-world country. (In my biased view) And I'm emmigrating to France as soon as a I can...
But please don't take my word for it, I'm just moaning. There is still a lot there. It is has just past is full useage and potential for me. Scotland and Wales are lovely places- I highly recommend them... And Europe is the best! I agree...

Oh, how many people here live in England/Britain/Wales?

MidnightSun

Nope, east europe, Lithuania.

Smurf

and definately Scam, the maturity! ahh

I'm from Tassie! best place in the universe! :D
and why do you think Britain is turning 3rd world my friend?

scameter
23rd January 2006, 03:22 PM
I would like to go to Edinburough (possible mispell) University myself. It's actually an old castle-like structure. It's very beautiful, from pictures I've seen of it. :) It even has it's own entire music history section psyche. :)

Venus
24th January 2006, 02:21 AM
In answer to Smurf: I've lived here all my life. I must say I don't live in England any more. Wales is a better. I just find the services very poor- there is not much of a community any more- In my view that is. Otherwise I recommend it. It is a beautiful place with a beautiful history.
Britain has really past it's prime for me though.... It is just a passive complaint...
I loved it in London!

scameter
24th January 2006, 02:55 AM
:) No problem psyche, you should check out the website for it. It's really cool. :)

And I see what you mean venus; honestly, I think you see it as you do because it is becoming more and more like America, which is entirely lacking of much history except 200 years ago and's only culture is that of money-gain. England/Britain on the other hand, has an extremely rich and diverse culture and history and landscape, which the latter America seems determined of it's own land to destroy, sickeningly. Thankfully, the Western area of America still retains much of it's wildess, but I wouldn't count on it being so beautiful as it is now forever, unfortunately. Have you ever been to Scotland Venus? :)

Venus
24th January 2006, 03:01 AM
Yes, sort of. I visited Aberdeen. I was shocked when I visited there by the friendliness! I would like to live there. It is a very warm, open, funny, polite, open-minded community. I only stayed there for a week and I felt like I lived there already. I wasn't at all willing to depart... lol...
Scotland is beautiful, uncorrupted place. Make Scotland a place to visit...
Yes you are right Scameter. If I'm honest, I find a lot of people that I meet are shallow and vain... that might not be true however...

scameter
24th January 2006, 03:05 AM
No I think it is, which is the cause of the carrying-over of American cynicism and shallowness. But, you suck! Now I can't wait to live in Scotland! :D

Venus
24th January 2006, 03:08 AM

Venus
24th January 2006, 05:44 PM
Why are you thanking me?
I agree...
We (as in the danmed "democratic" government) won't even accept the Euro because "It's too much trouble..." Yeah right. They (as in the current party) just don't want to be knocked off their little financial mountian. That's one thing that separates us.

Britain just belongs to Europe for the safety. Come on- even Ireland has Euros- we British people are pains. Lol...
I suppose we are repaying our debt for the attrocities commited...

scameter

lol Then you suppose wrong. Georgia, for what natural scenery it has left, mainly consists of pine trees in the central, plains below where the ancient sea used to be, blue-hued mountains covered in forest in the far north, and coastal islands to the far south coast. I like the place, if it were actually a natural place anymore. Now, it's becoming more and more developed, erradicating the original natural beauty of the place once very much so existing during the time of the Native Americans.

Proteus

You can still find beautiful scenery in Georgia..yet as scameter has pointed out it is, due to increased population and industry the forests are giving way to people and down here in south Georgia pine trees arethe new cash crop. It's hard to find any old growth forests at all.

We had some neighbors move down from up north once during pine pollen season. The wife of the elderly couple came over to accuse my brother and me of vandalizing their house and vehicles. Funny...the water puddles turn yellow..cars and houses all get drenched in yellow pollen.

well did you hear about the Bali Bombings?

also The huge amount of Australians smuggling Drugs into Indonesia that have been caught. I think about hmmm ... 11 people altogether?

And another Australian person was caught doing the said offence into Singapore and put to death. You know why he was doing it? to help his brother's debts. Now I know that that still isn't a Moral reason to smuggle in Drugs, but they put him to death. something that got a lot of Aussies upset
