Hello, my name is Fiona and im from Australia and im currently in my last year of high school. Im completing a project for one of my subjects called "society and culture" and if anyone could answer a few questions for me that would be really helpful. These questions are not meant to offend anybody and if they do i apologise. Please answer the questions in detail and honestly. Your answers will be confidential.

1: What religion were your parents?

2: Were they active participants in this religion?

3: Do you feel you are as active in your religion as your parents were?

4: Was your decision to participate in this religion a conscious decision or recognition of your parents belief system?

5: How do you feel that your religion is represented in society today?

6: Do you think there has been an increase in participants of your religion

7: Why do you think there has been an increase/decrease in your religion?

8: Why do you think there has been a decrease in religion generally?

2.Yes every sunday they go to church/meeting

4. It was a "Go cam or i'll suspend ur allowance"
5. Ummm.. chrisitanity is all over the place, quakers are quiet
6. Christianity- yes Quaker-no
7.Chrisitanity - cause its everywhere, and the accepted religion Quaker- cause its nowhere and misunderstood.

Parker
1. Christian (Lutheran) parents
2. Active participants.. They go to church probably twice a month
3. I'm probably just as active as they are, but it's my choice
4. Conscious decision - I don't really listen to what my parents say because i prefer making my own decisions
5. Christianity doesn't look very good anymore, due to bands like Bad Religion. Haha, joking, but there are only three or four hardcore Christians at my school (plus the Koreans) and they keep to themselves.
6. I really have no idea.
7. na
8. Bad Religion. Actually, just because people look to themselves for answers to everything, and because science has begun to contradict basically everything religion stands for. People see more proof behind scientific 'evidence' and so they follow what they can see and whats tangible.

Peace out

2: Were they active participants in this religion?

4: Was your decision to participate in this religion a conscious decision or recognition of your parents belief system?
No!
5: How do you feel that your religion is represented in society today?
as too authoritarian

No, about the same.

Church scandals. Also, when people learn to think for themselves,
and drop their fears, and realize, they do not need a label to survive, is when people
will drop their religious persuasions.
