I feel the detonation of a Radiation Dispersal Device (RDD) in one or more major US cities is much closer to reality than most care to admit.
Can this threat be stopped? Yes, it is probable, but doubtful. To remove the continuing threat of terrorism, which is simply a retaliation from a few, brought about from US government atrocities, first we must go back to the roots of what America was suppose to be.
Most important, the American citizenry must realize that,..."the government of the United States, is not, in any sense, founded upon the Christian religion"

The neo-con crusades and mission to Christianize the world must stop if we are to stop terrorism. People like Ann Coulter ("the solution to Islam is for the United States to invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity." Ann Coulter 2001) and Buster Dobbs ("The inability or unwillingness to hate makes a person worthless. If we do not hate detestable things, the quality of our character is suspect. The Bible commands that we hate". H. A. (Buster) Dobbs, Church of Christ), should be jailed for anti-Americanism and sedition.
Martin Luther King stated in 1967, "My government is the world's leading purveyor of violence."
He also said, "The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that". Martin Luther King, Jr.
