Ronnie 'Dutch' Reagan,...Father of the conservative revolution, the American deficit and Trickle-Down Economics; advocate of corporate welfare, union buster (ie. 11,400 striking air-traffic controllers), brought about the deaths of 241 Marines in Beirut, was a vocal opponent of the Equal Rights Amendment, a proponent of Nicaraguan deathsquads, and the first President to put his religion above his Country, etc.

Ronald Reagan,...liar, criminal, anti-American. I remember Reagan for the Contra Affair, arms for terrorists, the training of al qada, underminng America through his conservative agenda, etc. I remember Ronald Reagan as the man who removed Abraham Lincoln's motto ("to care for them whom borne the battle") from the Veterans Administration, and drastically cut the benefits and services of those injured in service to their Country, so that the rich could get tax cuts (which were suppose to "trickle down" to those who needed it).

The truth is that Reagan rekindled the old polarized energy of the McCarthy era, which has precipitated the most hateful period in America - George Bush, Rush Limbaugh, Pat Robertson, Tom DeLay, and the many other Christian slime whose agenda is the theocracizing of America. America however was not founded upon the Christian religion as those criminals proselytize.

I for one have a certain appreciation for criminals of Humanity like Reagan, Hitler and Bush. Most people, at least 87%, think violence is stopped through violence. Heck,...America has the highest incarceration rate in the world. Violence is really stopped when we realize the nature of violence.

"The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that". Martin Luther King, Jr.

this morning was emailed this joke :

Five surgeons are discussing who makes the best patients to operate on.

The first surgeon says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered."

The second responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is colour coded."

The third surgeon says, "No, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside is in alphabetical order.

The fourth surgeon chimes in: "You know, I like construction workers. Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end, and when the job takes longer than you said it would.

But the fifth surgeon shut them all up when he observed: "You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine, and the head and the ass are interchangeable.

It's just Reagan. He did not do a whole lot during his 8 years as leader of the free world. But now he's getting more media coverage than Iraq and he's just a dead guy!

He could have ended the Cold War and he didn't! He's a bastard and I dont see why anyone likes him so much. Krushchev specifially proposed destroying all the USSR's nuclear weapons if the US would do the same. Did Reagan do what was the best for the world, and the best for the American people? NO! He continued the arms race and both sides were forced to continue stockpiling massively dangerous weapons.

And now Russia is starving and it has all these nukes that it can't get rid of. So we're having to dispose of their nukes for them! This is all costing the taxpayers millions and it's all cuz Reagan was a douche bag.

Reagan sucked. I'm glad he's dead and I know that sounds disrespectful and irreverant but I don't care. I didn't like him as an actor, I didn't like him as a president, and I'm glad he's left this earth. :knockout:

Add that to his $Billion funeral

State Funeral $5 million plus

Roundtrip AirForceOne, several $million

Federal "day of morning" $423 million plus (The Office of Personnel Management said Wednesday that a day's payroll expense for the entire federal workforce is $423 million)

State and City "day of morning" estimated at $600 million plus.

One funeral for the Father of the American Deficit, who put his religion over his Country and Constitution...over $1Billion.

Not to mention the $millions in propaganda for the Christian Republican Party

God bless you all, every one of you.

Finding people who share my viewpoints and people who will intelligently argue their views against mine has been quite enlightening i must say.

It's a definite escape from the ordinary.
