The Tao Te Ching on this site looks very nice, but there are a lot of different interpretations of it around in English.
The interpretation on this site is quite good, but the best one I have found in the internet so far is this one...

I'm not "exclusively" a Taoist.
My "beliefs" are in a constant state of flux.
I am comfortable in the "uncertainty".
The "basic principle" of the Tao is what I believe in.
I am a "Liberal Taoist" - I am also a Liberal Christian, Buddhist etc. :)

This is how it all fits together...
"I think there is really only one reality - The Universe! (Tao). Religion/Beliefs and Science are the "template" through which we "see"/understand it.
No-one can see Reality (Tao) as it actually is!"
We can get more insight by combining elements of different Religions with Science and other fields of knowledge.
