After discussion in RLife with friends of mine, we cound't answer what religions came before an other one. So i was wondering if someone had a timeline of the world religions.
ex:
- Egipsian
- Maya
- Atlantis
- greek
- North american indian Shamanic
- Eckankar
- Taoist
- Boudist
- Juve
- Christianism
- Protestant
- Mormon
- ...
What is the real order of all of them. So many of them but wich one come before the other one ?

I once read somewhere that Hinduism is the oldest religion, nobody knows who the founder(s) was/were.
Yesterday one of the cable channels ran a biography of Jesus (fyi for Polaris, Commander Sisko hosted it, that's what got me interested!) Anyhow, according to this biography, Jesus never set out to start a new religion. He was actually a political reformer, & that's what got him executed. Apparantly, the Romans were quite tolerant of all the various religions practiced in their Empire. But they were not tolerant of political rabblerousers. Those people they picked up & crucified.
