Hi Thomas,

How about the option of deleting your own posts (within 60 minutes from posting it)? :)

Thomas Knierim

That would be a sensible option, but it seems the system cannot be configured to allow users to delete their posts.

Cheers, Thomas

Sylph,
you can delete a post within 60 minutes, by erasing what was written on the post, and writing word DELETED. Of course, you are actually revising the post.

P.S. also can write it in lower case, or whatever.

Another suggestion:

Can I track topics so that they appear in my controls > subscriptions, but not get email notification?

Coming soon... to a theater near you. Although on second thought, I can't do that, because Richie's eyes would vaporize at the sight of nudity.

Cheers, Thomas

Richie: How am I doing Thomas?

Very good, supposing this was a full medieval style bow with hat lifting and arm swirling.

Cheers, Thomas

 an observation:

There are a few folks here, who like privacy, and at times,

choose to hide their identity while on-line, just to observe you.

In fact, at times I do the very same thing.

Like playing peek-a-boo. B)

Sometimes people who post in too many forums, become a bit kooky.

Hack, Oh, I understand. ;)

Tell me what you think of this idea:

I think that I will hide my identity, by posting anonomously, and observe myself. ;

I wonder why some people post messages, while they are logged in as anonymous? Am not mentioning any names, for then this message would not be anonymously posted.

Hey, I'm logged in, and forgot to check the little box.

GRRRR oooooooof oof

hehe

:D

so if loggin using name, then not "anonymous"?

yes, but only the management knows, while with everone else, it is just a guess, if they wish to guess.

If not, then they are just reading posts. When I am on the board, and see the name,Anonymous, is posting, most of the time, this one can guess the identity of  Anonymous. :P :D  Hahaha.

So why hide identity when posting?

sahyo

"hide"? :)

rich

"Hide"?

When you "log-in", and request your name not to be displayed, when on-line, they will abide to your wishes, and not reveal your identity while you are posting.

Sssssssh rich, asheera knows that very well.

What are you doing all that blah, blah for? Huh? At times it proves to be annoying, just as bad as some of the caveat posts by others.

Caveat rather long posts you mention?huh?

What the hell are you talking about?

I don't know, saw word used by another.

What does it mean?

I don't know, am just trying to sound smart. :P
