Chill, Bro . . . for what it may be worth, it looks-n-sounds to me like asheera's responses above were talking to you in an 'engaged' way, in her own 'reflecting', 'pointing' and/or 'querying' style of course. Me no sense 'criticism' on her part, just 'crypticism'.
ignoring is a form of criticism.
Please 'know' that I also 'hear' you, sympathetically at that, usually with anything from mild to keen enjoyment. Silence on my part only means I have nothing to ADD to the conversation youward or anyone elseward at that point.

I really resonated to/with that dance-tune - wonderful! - thanks, for the 'high', asheera.
This is where I walk to and wade-n-swim 'dance' practically every afternoon during the sweltering Sedona-AZ summer:
http://www.godspeak2000.net/images/oakcreek.jpg
Only difference is the cowpies, left over from the days when this was 'cattle country', are baked styrofoam-solid, so if and when one steps on them, there's no 'squishing' or 'squeezing toes'. Toes wouldn't be 'squeezing' in any event -- you gotta at least wear hiking sandals in this terrain - lots o' thorns 'n cactus spines 'n both sharp-edge-broken 'n lava-rough rocks.
Especially 'thrilled' by/to the "snakingants" 'creation' -- always encounter lots of 'moving' curvy lines of ants doing their do, venting from trailside holes.
Will be heading for a dip there right after I sign off. It's a 'heaven on earth' ex·peer·ience  I 'go for' over ond over.
Again, much appreciated your word-art-dance-song
Puttin' on my shades right now! B) David

Full moon 'scheduled' for August 11th. Am mind-thought 'planning' to take a 'night-light' trail-stroll around then (give or take 1 day-night) depending on cloud cover. Will have to 'watch out' for tarantulas as t'is their 'season' to be 'jolly', but should be able to then, as Sedona has an ordinance against un'capped' outside lights. Fullmoon-light around here so bright, everything glistens, except the (posited) tarantulas, which I 'expect' will 'show up' as 'dark' thangs by contrast, if they're on the 'glistening' trail that is.
Subplan  to wear boots instead my summer-customary hiking sandals as well, as there are scorpions and rattlers (tho I've only come across one each so far) running around loose around here also!
From what you say, I assume you'd do and enjoy doing such things without any such mind-thought-enabled 'planning', asheera. Dang! That'd be like flying without wings for me - ZOWIEEE! But rest-assured I am not unduly 'distracted' by and do thoroughly enjoy kite-wafting along in my mind-thought-enabled-planning airstream, as it happens both 'spontaneously' and 'smoothly' 'in' 'me' -- t'ain't a convoluted or labored process.

David,
Your hiking and camping trip sounds very adventurous. I'd be very frightened to cope with tarantulas, rattlers and scorpions.
Never really went on such adventuresome trips as you described. Appreciate modern conveniences too much. I imagine the evenings must be quite exciting to be out in the open, and viewing the endless sky, from the desert. Does it get very cold?
When younger, would take the kids out on a party fishing boat, from 7;00 PMto 4:00AM,
fishing for blue fish. My son, now takes his 3 kids (my grandchildren) on night fishing trips.Lots of fun, when they are biting. Enjoy your trip David, espercially the stars and sky. :D

There's a larger-than-in-most-other-places variation between day and night temperatures in the 'desert' - around here, the 'desert' is further sub-'labelled' semi-arrid (arid - sp?) - this time of year, days usually close to 100°F, nights dropping to around very 'pleasant' 70°F, both, give or take 5°F.
Enjoy your trip David, especially the stars and sky.
Heart-felt thank you, richie. Will do, I 'expect', and will take you along in 'my' heart-mind 'pocket' with me fersure. Am 'aiming' for tom'w (Sunday) night, as a first 'window'. If too much cloud cover, will have opportunity to 'aim' again on the next several nights.

Please note, I speak for the 'self' which operates as 'me' only. I guess you'd have the ask that quesion of the sun that and then listen to what 'he' :) says; that is, assuming you [fill in the blank] that the sun is a conscious entity, or has a conscious spirit associated with it, which can communicate or be 'listened in' on.
ocean thinkplanning oceaning?
Ditto the above, except 'ocean' for 'sun' and 'she' for 'he'.
IMO, you make a kind of 'logical' mistake in using above 'argument', because it false-axiomatically presumes a 'significant' correspondence between Sun-being and David-being, and between Ocean-being and David-being, in matters dyamically pertaining to the plan-happening thang.
Many 'Hard Science' type psychologists make same type of mistake, IMO, when they think/believe there's a 'complete' correspondence between 'rat'- and 'mice'- operational-dynamic principles and 'human' ones (and that all 'human' happenings' can be explained on the basis of 'elaborations' of rat- and mouse- principles alone).
"many days before to a 'split-instant' before?
Yes. What I meant was anywhen 'before' (in terms of the 'time' frame-system that is the generally accepted convention) the 'happening' 'sprung' 'into' the REALm of worldly ACTualization.
In my 'view', and there are a LOT of creative actualizations 'out there' along with observations and self-reports pertinaing to what preceded their coming 'into' the realm of 'being' which attest to this, 'outer' of 'wordly' ACTulaization are first 'gestated' in the 'womb' of 'invisible' mind-n-spirit, then 'birthed' into physical-sense-detectable 'manifestation'.
Not your 'view', I know. You and I 'peer' at worldly 'happenings' through radically different lens and framing systems.
I am 'getting' to 'know' what you 'view' looks like to you. Doesn't look to me like you are at all 'getting' to 'know' what mine looks like to me, otherwise you wouldn't be asking me to re'view' my own 'views' (by attaching a question mark to them) view-statements I've made which, in my 'view' , are totally 'obvious' and make complete 'sense'.
Either that, or you are simply choosing not to 'honoringly' relate to your David-neighbor's sharing his personal 'way' of 'navigating' the stream of the Life-Force, or whatever IT is, at least not to the same degree as you self-honoringly share your own.
Oh, well. The best I can do is 'attempt' to share-comm·uni·cate with you, among others here. Sometimes, them thought-plan bridges just evaporate into thin air. Often actually, when and if 'conditions' aren't right for the plan-hoped for outcoming.
We can still be 'friends', though. (LOL)

Hi asheera, I'd be able to appreciate the way you person·ally 'view' things and how you person·ally 'navigate' Life if you took the time and trouble necessary to express the way in which you would 'answer' your own 'questions'. Might even learn something that I could integrate into my 'view' and use it to visit and savor something/place (or some no·thing/no·place) I may never have otherwise.
At it stands, whatchoo say 'strikes' me like a fly which one attempts to shush away only to have it come back and land in the same general location. I'm sure that is not your 'intention' - and it doesn't 'bother' me emotionally, in any event. Just wanted to letchoo know how your questioning-methodology (or whatever it is) 'looks' and 'feels in the 'frame' of my mind-heart lens.

Anyone see the conjunction of the moon and mars last night?
I guess it was an aussie only thing, and it was awesome. :)
Mars was within the rainbow corona surrounding the moon. {co·ro·na [in] Astronomy. A faintly colored luminous ring appearing to surround a celestial body visible through a haze or thin cloud, especially such a ring around the moon or sun, caused by diffraction of light from suspended matter in the intervening medium. Also called aureole. }
So, conjuncting within one lunar diameter.
Note: Heavenly bodies are said to be in conjunction when they are seen in the same part of the heavens, or have the same longitude or right ascension. The inferior conjunction of an inferior planet is its position when in conjunction on the same side of the sun with the earth; the superior conjunction of a planet is its position when on the side of the sun most distant from the earth. (Definition and Note from www.dictionary.com)
Any ideas, resident astrologers?
Oh, and in my experience, the rainbow corona around the moon, caused by ice difracting moonlight in the high atmosphere, means rain on the way. Tho praps not just yet in this instance, but is raining west of here, where the weather 'comes from' in these parts.
Sfunny, I've been predicting rain here for a week, with no result but some interesting clouds. :)

Random Hack, thank you for so much information.
I once saw a rainbow around the moon and wondered what caused this.
My mind is so fickle and there is so much learn.
I think it is a shame we don't all live at least 300 hundred years. I wonder
if humans would have ended war, if we all lived 300 years, and had the time
to learn all each others languages and beliefs. I wonder if the young had a
stronger sense of the possibility of living and learning for 100, if so many would
be willing to resolve differences with violence and tolerate leaders who bring
them to this?
