Welcome to our new and improved discussion board!
I am pleased to announce that the board software upgrade was successful. We are now running Invision power board 1.1.2. You might wonder where all the posts and member registrations have gone.
Let me address this point first. The old ikonboard data is still there. You can access it through the archive at http://www.thebigview.com/discussion/archive/. Although the board archive does not accept any posts, you can still read the approx. 6,800 messages.
A few things about the new board:
Unfortunately I was not able to move the existing data to the new board. The reason for this is quite simple - I don't have any conversion software for ikonboard 3.x. This means that existing members need to subscribe anew. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
I hope that the new and enhanced features of Invision board will make up for it. There are quite a few of them, please see for yourself and let me know any questions you might have.
Last but not least, privacy and security is a notch above previous versions, which I am sure everybody welcomes.

P.S.: I forgot to mention... the dots in the upper right corner is not just a design feature. It's a roll-over menu.
